Long time no see, this is great. To get this with a 28mm were you on a boat or bridge or??? Do you manual focus when you do reflections, where do you focus, water surface, at the distance of the original object, or somewhere in between? In the last couple of years I've taken maybe 2000 reflection pics at the lakes and rivers where I live, seems like I get about one keeper out of every 30 or 40, what kind of percentage do you get with reflections? I scrubbed all my pics on photo.net a while back(everything went stale)but you've got me motivated now, think I'll pull out a reflection shot. welcome back, Glen

this particular photo was taken from the opposite side of the grand canal in dublin city. i get a few duds too, but generally i find that i have 5-10 images in each roll of film that i am happy with, but perhaps only 10-2 that i would be happy to exhibit! i always use a manual focus, and the focus changes depending on what i am trying to achieve in each image. sometimes it's an object, sometimes the background. good luck with ur reflections, i'm obsessed! i'll never get bored with them! all my work can be seen on my website, www.charlotteaberg.com
