tomvoo75 0 Posted February 2, 2006 Very cool, I would like to see the whole mustang though 5/6 Link to comment
emjordan 0 Posted February 2, 2006 I do have shots of the full mustang but people, buildings and other stuff kept getting in the way. This is the same plane as the one in my folder entitled "reflections" which is shot from the right side. I may be persuaded to post a full shot! thanks- elisabeth Link to comment
gnashings 5 Posted February 3, 2006 Elizabeth, As a person fanatical about the WWII airplanes, I think there is nothing more beautiful. And I shoot them quite a bit at airshows, so I can really appreciate a shot like that. Its beautifully composed, perfectly exposed, and you managed to keep all the usual everyday riff raff out of the shot, which is NOT easy. Lovely shot. Keep 'em coming! Link to comment
emjordan 0 Posted February 4, 2006 Peter, I am trying with every shot to do something different to bring out the unique beauty of whatever is infront of me. I'm glad there are people like you who appreciate this. Thanks-elisabeth Link to comment
k5083 1 Posted March 23, 2006 The other commenters are right, this pic seems simple at first but is deceptively well composed and balanced. Even if there had been nobody around and you could get the whole airplane in the frame, you'd lose a lot of the detail and impact. This shot really makes me feel that the aircraft wants me to jump in and go bore some holes in the clouds. Link to comment
crtslex 0 Posted June 18, 2006 I agree with August. This shot is very inviting. Part of the appeal is the feeling that I'm walking toward the plane, ready to go blast through the sky in one of the most beautiful airplanes ever designed. I love the shot with the reflections, and I'm glad I'm not responsible for keeping her polished! Link to comment
richard_james_thornton 0 Posted September 26, 2006 Wow, love this picture of yours, it captures the tranquility and sexyness of this fantastic iconic warbird. It seems calm yet belies the thunder sleeping within. Link to comment
