atle.g 0 Posted January 29, 2006 First of all.. You should try to fix the frame, its looking horrible. Second.. the photo is really great looking. The shadow effect at the right..is it a mountain? Could be tempted to crop some of it out. I feel the comp could cope with that. Well done! Link to comment

lupine 0 Posted January 30, 2006 Less is more! An amazing photo in that there are no bells or whistles, just a beautiful, interesting image. I'm curious as to what exactly we're looking at but I don't really care. There is something very soothing and relaxing about the image. It takes courage to have so much white space, keep at it! billfoster 0 Posted January 31, 2006 Gorgeous ... absolutely gorgeous. This would be fabulous as a really large print. Great work. Link to comment
yereth 0 Posted January 31, 2006 I love it... it is very peaceful. I can't really describe the atmosphere, but it gives me a certain feeling. Very vague... :) Great shot! One question: how did you get such a frame? Is it the 'natural' frame of the film? I've seen it a lot on a photo-expedition I went to. Was just wondering. Cheers, Yereth Link to comment
zachi 0 Posted February 6, 2006 Amazing image. You've got some very nice and simple shots in your portfolio that I really enjoy. Link to comment
arthur_ding 0 Posted February 9, 2006 It's a nice work. I like it. But the broken frame degrades it. The image is consence enough. A continues frame seems to be a better choice. Link to comment
mikebale 0 Posted February 14, 2006 To those that asked, the frame is the extreme edge of this kind of film (assuming it's really the frame and not added in with PS). It shows that he did not crop any of the image, and that you are seeing what he saw in his viewfinder. Take a look at anything from late in Avedon's career and you'll see the same thing. Cropping an image like this is amateur-ish. Link to comment
