Romance in the Rennaissance City? Providence, RI June 2001.

Took this photo while up on a cement wall photographing

Providence's "Waterfire Event." Happened to look over my shoulder

and see this scene unfold. Was a really foggy night in June, and

mixed in with all the smoke from the waterfires, created a really

interesting sky. Can't remember the technical specs, basically took

the meter reading and bumped it up a few stops.

I shoot a lot of night stuff. I haven't been able to post it b/c it's on reversal- so I think I have a trained eyes opinion. GREAT SHOT- the couple in the bottom foreground really brings a nice touch to some great lighting effects and a surreal sky.
