It's an old lady with her old style coffeeshop situated in one of the

oldest part of Bangkok, Thailand. Outside is very crowded, noisy and

hot. Inside, in the other hand, is very calm and peaceful. That's

what Starbucks will never give me. Pay 10 bht (USD0.25) for a drink,

coffe, tea, cocoa or softdrinks and you can sit forever. You don't

have to pay for the air-conditioning charge, service charge, any

charge on earth you would expect ... should sound ridiculous here at

my peaceful coffeeshop.

Extremely well captured and it does convey the feeling of your introductory observation.I've seen the same coffee shop in other countries and I agree with you, Starbucks cannot duplicate it nor ever achieve it.
