wow, congradulations, both an absolutely amazing photograph, and for being printed on the cover of PP. Well done, well deserved.

I've lived in Oregon all my life and you have captured one of my all time favorite moments of Crater Lake, beautiful job!

Superb.. I first saw this shot in a magazine whilst I was on holiday in America and was drawn to the sheer beauty of the scene.

Very humble approach for such a beautiful image! I honestly don't know exactly why it's good, other than the wide angle lens/zoom and the fact that the coloring is amazing. It's also very clear and just generally turned out well. I like how dark it gets around the top and sides. I think you did an absolutely wonderful job at capturing this lake, and if you surpass this one, I sure want to see it because that would be an accomplishment worth noting. Great job, I love it!

Your photo is simply breathtaking. I just found this website today and have been checking out a bunch of photos. Your picture drew me right in. I have lived in Florida my whole life, but looking at your picture makes me want to lay in the snow and make snow angels, go ice skating on a lake, then have a snow cone for dessert. The lighting and the stillness of the lake make it almost surreal. Beautiful.

As a novice photographer (just started a few days ago) I have to say that this shot is amazing. It's a truly beautiful image that you worked hard to achieve, the world needs more people as determined as you.

Fantastic. The contrast in scale between the snow detail in the foreground and hills in the background is amazing. Good to see that all that effort has paid off. Love it very much.

Crater Lake was one of those spots I always enjoyed visiting as a child growing up in Oregon. As many times as I've been there, all times of the year, I've never seen it like this! I want to know the compass coordinates to get to this exact spot! Beautiful! 7/7!

Your determination and creativity have paid off for you, and for all of us viewing this masterpiece. It's probably the best landscape I've seen on PN since 2003. Sevens, and congrats!
