Crater Lake

I live very close to Crater Lake, and so I can really appreciate what it took to get this shot. Well done!

great composition, beautiful view, it seems to me that the far end side of the mountain is underexposed, was it due do a ND filter?

Thanks all for your comments. My PS work took less than a minute here and was limited to levels adjustment and removing a partial snowshoe print I carelessly left below. The darker background hills are from the ND grad - I like the effect personally. The exposure was F14 and 1/4 second. Thanks again.

This is the best photo of Crater Lake that I have ever seen. Well Done!!

What a wonderful image. I love the way you've (just about) kept the tree tops and central 'island' clear of the rim of the crater. Plus the snow ridge leading into the picture...and the light. You must have known you had something special when you pressed the shutter on this one
