My complements on capturing a fantastic pose and expression. My ONLY negative is that I would have liked the background a bit darker. I like the highlighting in her hair and the colors of her costume. Great job!

Interesting image, captivating expression indeed... I kind of agree with the comment above about the background, but... I would have gone for a toning from your bright blue in the centre behind the head, to a bit darker on the sides (Central spot on the background)... Nevertheless, it should remain bright enough at the edges...

And finally, I must say that your background surprised me, but in the end did very well, retaining my attention, and making this portrait irreal, like shot in Heaven !

-marvelous colors, Alexi. My comment is about the musical instrument she holds!! Having heard one played on a video , I was captivated by the haunting sound these (flutes?) make. What is the Russian word for these instruments??? Ans. Please!!! (ïîæàëóñòà)

I would prefer it with a gray/blue background, but the colors are splendid. One of your most interesting images. I am not going to "nitpic" the lighting, because I could not do as well and I bet most couldnt. Sure, it has a posed look, but it has charm that makes the posing not bothersome. Good work. Thanks for opportunity to comment.
