What composition, what color, what texture, what contrast, what... I'm with no words to describe one of the best photos I've ever seen!

My best congratulations!

My first thought was, "Wow." But the more I look at it, the more something bothers me. My eye keeps going to the bridge structure on the left. Even with the strong leading lines going to the people in the distance, the wonderful, warm reflections on the boards, and the misty conditions, my eye keeps going to the bridge. I keep asking myself, why is it there? What does it add to the composition? I can't come up with a satisfactory answer to either question. IMHO, the image would have been stronger if it had been composed without the bridge. Or, simply remove it with PhotoShop.
