It has geometrical rythm. It has colour rythm. It has contrast of shapes... it has everything. I might write "quintessential carlrootian", had I not abused the adjective already once or twice.

 

Too bad your exibition is a far-flung one: I'd like to see all of those printed big!

A precision crop makes all the difference here. The geometry is spot on. Interesting that the top right is a pink free zone, but it helps to form the essence of the composition.

What I really need is a new title. "Sunset" is really in need of upgrading.

Did a google search and found an interactive graphic. What fun!

Nice escher (sp) effect with those two strong dark shadowed lines giving depth, yet at the same time leaving the viewer perplexed as to depth-to-where/from-where. Would've liked to see the three points of the full diamond complete themselves, but that may have left me then wanting to see the surrounding daimonds etc... so, probably a good choice composing/cropping the way you did. Great colors!
