httpwww.photo.netphoto1664874374 0 Posted March 3, 2001 I'm a first time poster. Looking for general critiques including: composition, exposure, etc. These images have been downsized/manipulated to post on my future web site. Thanks! Link to comment
erol_a. 1 Posted March 4, 2001 Very "traditional" but pleasant to the eye. Dunguaire was the first castle I ever saw, I was driving with my father and he pulled over so we could have a look... so I guess this photo gets me a bit with the nostalgia! The light is nice, though a bit "tourist-board-calendar-esqe" and I think this would have been charmingly surreal in Infrared or filtered BW. Artistically quite "standard" but I've no qualms with that, as photographers we're as much recordists as we are creators. The aesthetics and originality ratings here are nice but far from complete- there is far more to a photograph's worth than that. Link to comment
julian_baum 0 Posted March 27, 2001 A wonderful scenic. It is the perfect calendar image which means it would be well suited adorning any wall space. After all, an image on the wall is just a window into another world. What better view to have. Link to comment
