This is an excellent image in my view. I really get a lot out of this shot especially since it's in black and white (which really gives this image its feel). There is this sense of loneliness and contemplation. Great shot. Thanks for sharing.

I can feel my crampons balling up! What I find really strong is the way the footprints are going backwards (correct me if I'm wrong), which makes me feel like the scene has been rewound, and is about to be replayed - like the person suddenly had a thought and wanted to go back to a point in their memory and start again. All kinds of things going on in my head! I would be tempted to clone out the ski tracks. Is it actually B&W? I feel like it's colour - the lack of colour in these environments is certainly striking anyway.
