reminds me of the mirror in the womens restroom at my gym. The further you stand away from it the skinnier you look. Of course if you stand within a foot of the thing you look like the stay puff marshmellow woman. I like to stand about 8ft away and pretend I'm 10 again.

I dont have any qualms with this photo (will leave that up to someone else) I like the idea and the finished product.

PT, you've done an excellent job of communicating an idea. I'm sure chocolate can be dangerous on the wrong tongues or waists; but what a temptation - I don't often have the craving but guzzle for dozens when I do.

Because I shoot/crop tight, I'd probably recommend you do the same (!) and crop closer to the bar from the top. I might have thought about placing a piece of colour board underneath to introduce a split tone bg (the white & cream being so similar.)

But I like it - is the distortion a PS-type filter? (& if so, good job.)

Great lighting - perhaps too even for those seeking mood but tricky to be otherwise with a mirror involved.

I guess danger is a subjective concept - though I'm happy with the theme fit. The bent mirror effect works well here.

As for composition I agree with Seven - crop more and provide contrast between bottom and top backgrounds.

Nice theme fit and I agree a tighter crop and more contrast could be more interesting. I like the effect of the distortion on the squares and petals in the reflected chocolate bar brings the point home, and has a sort of :-0 effect.

As far as the photo goes, I agree a tighter crop would have worked better.

I really do like your interpretation of the theme using the mirror of distortion v actual, although I'm not sure if chocolate is the right object/subject to use.

Good job nonetheless PT.

Let's see...the waist got smaller and the ummmmm...two upper middle parts got much bigger.

Must have been a "Total Makeover"

Just my 2 cents.

Fun photo done well.

bravo PT!

Eating a too much chocolate can damage your figure, but seeing a fat body when you look in the mirror can be even more dangerous (IMO).

To get this, PT used select+transform, and then the liquify filter repeatedly with different brush sizes.

Fun to shoot, even better to eat afterwards!

Seven: your comments were very useful.
