yes, too dreamy -- comes off as washed out, but a beautiful photo with great potential, very effective composition.

How's this? I am not real sure about all these filters in PS so I appreciate your help. I will also put my original picture on here so you can see what I was working with. Thanks in advance!

I actually like your original, better of all. If the light was not so harsh it could've been a very good simple potrait shot. The subject is lovely too.

I don't do digital enhancements usually. I prefer and try to get everything right from the start however I did a fast change for you here just to see a forth version as well.

Cheers

This is just personal opinion. It all depends on what you want to do with the filter and what you or your client wants the result to be. Normally, on head and shoulders shots, the dream filter results in too much dream, but on full length shots, it can have a nice effect. I like your original shot, which you could soften just a bit instead of applying a whole filter. But I have had times that I used a filter with what I, at least, thought was success. You can see an example here if you wish. The couple loved it. Best Regards.

Well Christa, for what its worth, I think your posted version is really tasteful and beautiful. If this were my daughter, this portrait would be on my wall NOW! Beautiful work!
