atkphotoworks 0 Posted January 20, 2006 I love the difference in size between the bonfire and the people watching it. It's quite a spectacle. The flames are powerful and magnificent. Link to comment
katzpjs 50 Posted January 20, 2006 At first I thought this might be part of the Burning Man Project. I remember the wonderful bonfires we used to have on the beach when I was a child, but those are now not allowed anymore.A nice picture, thank you Paula. Link to comment
paula grenside 0 Posted January 20, 2006 Alec, thank you so much. Amar, really another example of how small we are in front of nature. Thank you. Shawn, bonfires are not allowed anywhere? Well, not that here we lit bonfires every other day, but they are allowed ( at least at Epiphany they are). Thank you. Link to comment
katzpjs 50 Posted January 20, 2006 Bonfires not allowed on the beaches anymore, at least not when I last lived by a beach which was 30 years ago. I now live in downtown Seattle and I'm sure I'd be arrested if I lit up a bonfire here. I'll have to head for the woods and settle for a campfire. Link to comment

paula grenside 0 Posted January 20, 2006 LOL, Shawn, you tell the Police that an Italian friend wanted to see a bonfire in Seattle--of course you have to shoot some photos. Link to comment
