giggles 0 Posted January 16, 2006 It is in Madrid, Spain. I was there in October and just now getting around to editing my photos. Glad you like it. Link to comment

michaelhills 0 Posted January 16, 2006 Emily, to me this is one of your best images from your Europe portfolio thus far. Lovely detail and tones. I get a sense of just how grand the space is - something that is hard to do in two-dimensional photographs. May I ask what dDarkroom processing you emmployed for your Europe images. They all have this wonderfully 'dreamy' quality to them that I find quite appealing. M :) Link to comment
giggles 0 Posted January 16, 2006 Hi Michael - I've seen you noticed my favorite action. Maybe I am over using it but I love the results I can quickly get. Anyways, it is called Midnight Sepia. I wish I could take full credit but I must give that to Dave Jasseck (I hope I spelled his name right). He has a wide variety of actions that can be downloaded from www.atncentral.com. After I use it, I tweaked each image some with the unsharpen mask, curves, and brightness/contrast so at least I can add something to make it my own. To me the action adds a soft blur and mutes the colors a little - yeah, I guess you could say dreamy which also sums up my trip to Europe pretty well. I am anxious to print this so I can see it in a larger format than on my screen. We just added a large family room to our house and now I am trying to decide which photos to decorate it with. Thanks for your compliments - I am a huge fan of yours - especially your sharp black & white images and of course your Ruby presentation. How is she doing by the way? Emily Link to comment

michaelhills 0 Posted January 17, 2006 Ruby is going very well. She is a 'normal' little angel now :) Thank you for asking. I'm going to check out the address you gave me soon. Your personal stamp on that action really gives your images a lovely feel. Great stuff. No, no... don't be a fan... lets just be friends... M :) Link to comment
