rings...I have new found respect for those who shoot jewelry...what a pain to flatten out the lighting

Hi Mike. I really liked your pic and would like to try the same. I have a nikon n75 slr. I would like to know what material you used and how can I create the same type of effect? thanks

 

Hello Anthony...I used an old felt dress and surrounded the rings with white foamboard...I bounced two SB-800 "off camera" flashes. Move the flashes around and experiment. With film write down what you did on each exposure. Hope that helps. Mike
