Too many Photoshop... :-)

This is a beautiful scene with tremendous color. I hesitate to make this comment for fear of beginning a long debate here, but... I disagree about the Photoshop comment -- If this is what you saw when you took the photo, and if PS helped you achieve it, it works. This is no different than dodge and burn and other darkroom effects. You simply improved the recording. Sure, it would have been great to do this all in the camera, but few have the equipment AND the talent. It is my opinion that it remains a photo until you substantially change the reality of the subject. At that point it is no less art, just not so much a photograph.

I find the foreground too busy.

Hi, great colors and nice view. I like a lot sunsets (and sunrises!) I would just comment that when you placed the water level halfway the picture, I was expecting symmetry (as you did on the reflection), but the sand bank is getting in the way (of the reflection), a couple of steps left would have got the whole reflections, no interruptions.

Many trips down the Grand and always compositional and color surprises. I think Eliot

might have liked it.

I love the color. The sky is wonderful. I think a crop with less foreground would be slightly better. Good use of photoshopping.
