I took this picture while living in northern Japan. We came across the lake and bridge by accident. We had used our 4-wheel drive to take the back mountain roads south of Yagen Japan in the Aomori prefecture. We ended up in a volcanic area with this fantastic lake that seemed to boil with all the sulfur bubbles that rose from the lake. There was little to no access to the lake, I only had a 70-200 2.8L lens and tried to back up as far as I could to get the bridge into the frame.

There is another picture in my Japan folder on photo.net that is on the other side of the bridge and only of the mountain and lake. I would like to hear what people think in comparison with both photos.

I love the composition of this shot, especially how the pillars of the bridge coincide with the peaks on the horizon. I'll assume this was intentional, well done!

This shot has a lot going for it: Composition is good with the bridge as the foreground subject. The lighting is nice and warm- sunset. Also, the colors of the bridge and background are complementary which makes the bridge stand out even more. Good Work

This image made me stop for a closer look. It is stunning. The contrast of the red and greens, and the detail really make you want to stay a while. Beautiful composition. You must be very happy with this result.
