Thank you Sir. Appreciate the comments. Especially since I had to jump through hoops with regards to the light on the water. :)

Geez Larry, it's getting depressing checking on your latest shots. Every one's a winner.

Either you live in one beautiful or you are a master of the landscape image. I think both:)

And he's always out there before dawn! This one is another that takes my breath away, Larry...I love how the streaks seem to radiate out from the right side. whatever hoops you had to jump through, it was worth it. This one definitely need framing. One of my very favorites!!!

Thank you Jamie. You are right about the beautiful place. Colorado is not hard to take. :)

Thank you Kim. An early bird gets the worm and an early photographer gets good light. Words to live by.

This image is definately going to go on my wall. I recently found a print shop on the other side of Fort Collins that specializes in fine art reproductions. They have three of my images for large scale printing right now. When I pick those up I plan to drop this one off and have a 16 X 24 made. I have been trying to get this kind of look in the clouds for quite a while.

I wish I was there - a wonderful image that certainly evokes serenity. I would be very interested to know how the 16x24 comes out. I've used Adorama for some 12x18 shots that I was very happy with.

Thank you Stuart. I'll let you know how the print turns out.

I just sent you an email describing how to blend two bracketed exposures.

Thank you James. I am having to redo this one because of some flaws around the water line. They aren't visible in the image posted here but they show up big time in a print. Thats what happens when you get lazy and careless.

When I tried to print it there was a problem in the reflection of the hill in the water. It has a thin dark line along the edges thats a result of me being careless with a masking operation during processing. Even though that area is already dark and you can't see it on the web it would be visible in a 16 X 24 Lumira print. Bottom line is I need to redo it and pay attention in the process. Its not that onerous a task.
