labuenaluz 0 Posted January 14, 2006 Stunning portrait!, love the exposure and light settings, rounded hat surrounds greatly the highest point; her amazing look and expression, really deep and powerfull!! Link to comment
haleh b 0 Posted January 14, 2006 What a pretty model you got there! Natural with all the potential in the world. The tonality of this portrait is exceptioal. Link to comment
derekwin 0 Posted January 15, 2006 Great shot. I like how the texture in the hat brings your eye to the main focus of her face as well as the lines of the painting. Just super lighting. This shot deserves to be on a magazine cover somewhere. Link to comment

jon thornton 0 Posted March 2, 2006 I love this shot. There is so much going on - the hands, the intense stare, the blemishes, the incongruity of the the girl's expression with her age. Link to comment
AJHingel 127 Posted March 2, 2006 Carina, the hands, the eyes, the hair, the hat, the background - all are very very good, put into a straight forward frame and delivered to the pleasure of our admiration. Congratulations ! I can ensure you that I will be regularly back. Anders Link to comment
dalehibbard 0 Posted March 2, 2006 I normally do not particularly care for this type of pose and angle. However, this photo has a paint-type quality to it. Her porcelain complexion and compelling gaze makes this a truly beautiful composition. The eye color does not adequately come through on the smaller display. In my humble opinion, this would make an excellent print. Link to comment
john falkenstine 1 Posted March 3, 2006 Cute picture but the outline of the girl's face appears to have numerous touch up artifacts and the strange (lightbox?) reflections in the eyes just don't cut it for me. (march 21 update: but I would go one step further and state that this portfolio is perhaps a good step for this girl's future career as a model?) Link to comment
carina_berlingeri 0 Posted March 3, 2006 touch up artifacts? i dont know what you mean John .. this photo was done in the morning with natural sunlight no light box , all my photos are done with natural light :)) Link to comment
john falkenstine 1 Posted March 3, 2006 Hence my question mark. The reflection could also be a window. It looks strange. Link to comment
AJHingel 127 Posted March 3, 2006 John is right that there is a "strange reflection" in her eyes (two windows ?) but it is part of the charm of the eyes that gives content to her look. Don't change anything or you would get just yet another small beautiful girl and not also a beautiful photo . As concerns the "numerous touch up artifacts" I don't see any - or I don't know what John means by the term. Anders Link to comment
