Very Good Picture !

I like the composition. Nice color balance and the water is nicely framed. I think I would like to see something more in the sky the lack of of anything in the sky just seems to detract a little from the picture, mayve that's just me though.

I like this picture because of its colorful, but peaceful mood. It's very well composed and captured.

Very nice, considering the overcast and flat light conditions. Imagine this picture with a more alive sky. At first i couldn't quite believe that you had used a 28-80 lens because it looked more ultra wide angle to me. Then i realised that it was the objects on the right end of the photo that caused the fish eye effect. Interresting though, just too bad about the weather...

I agree with all the complements above. As to the lack of sky I think that a gorgeous sky would take away from the subject of this photo. There is a certain pleasant haphazardness to this scene with the boats, houses and people and you need to look at it to appreciate. The water takes you through the pic and when there is no sky to study at the end of the water you come back to what the pic is all about.

Venice like I never saw it in a pic. Colours are to die for them...

I can understand the previous viewers desire to see some beautiful Italian sky, but the overcast sky gave you that perfect lighting. Very good shot.
