philgeusebroek 0 Posted December 22, 2001 This frost pattern reminds me of some fanciful, Alice in Wonderland - style rabbit warren. Then again I am the one who shot the photo... What do you think? Could I improve it somehow? Please rate/critique so I can shoot it again before it melts... :) Thanks, Phil Link to comment
timo_inkinen 0 Posted December 22, 2001 Beautiful pastel colors and very nice composition makes a great shot. I liked this photo a lot. Link to comment

idandan 0 Posted December 23, 2001 since i live in a hot country i can't figure out exactly what i'm seeing here , sure it looks like an oil painting of a mountain pick . is it a window glass with frost on the outside or vapor painting on the inside ? anyway it is beautiful and interesting . imaginator 0 Posted December 23, 2001 It does have qualities that remind me of a painting... more contrast would bring out detail in the frozen patterns, but then again that might ruin the subtle effect you have achieved. Isn't mother nature full of wonderful suprises?! Link to comment
jersey_emt 0 Posted December 24, 2001 It does look like a painting. I agree with the last comment about the contrast. The photo looks a little washed out...upping the contrast might help a bit. Link to comment
philgeusebroek 0 Posted December 25, 2001 Thanks for your commentary. I did attempt to increase contrast but I found that I was losing the pastel continuity of colour that I wanted. I may give it another go down the road(when it forms again :( - it melted ). Merry Christmas! Link to comment
think27 0 Posted February 9, 2002 Phil, you have something here with your ice photos... They are amazing...an art within an art. I love them very much and think you could do a wonderful series of these and do a show or something! Or a book! Do you realize how good they are? Link to comment
