Small lake in Mono Cliffs conservation area.

Len, too long...I like the " action" going in that image.I will start from the upper side. The red branch entering from up there and the small one in the water that is parallel but "going" the other direction is bringing interest to the composition and than the fallen tree in the fg.... All this gives the atmospher that season changes are passing here. good light, and a pleasant image.

Pnina, Though not conscious of it at the time I framed it, unless at some subconscious level, I find my eye being directed in a circular path when entering at any point around the parimeter & traveling in a clockwise direction, gradually spiralling in to the center and to the dead tree in the water. What I can take credit for is the conscious decision to wait until the wind disturbed the dark water surface area, center, to produce a highlight in that area just before the far shoreline. Thanks for providing me the opportunity to stop & meditate and relive the moment on this one. Best, LM.

Not an easy location to get back to so I had to accept the existing

weather conditions and concentrate on arrangement of elements

(composition). Anything to add to the two existing comments? How

could I have made this a stonger image either pre or post exposure?

How would you have approached this scene. Info in 'technical
