mcgarity 0 Posted January 8, 2006 Its a beautiful image. The light is quite striking. Its got good color and contrast. The one and only drawback is the tree bordering it on the left hand side. I think it would be a better composition if you had cropped that out. Link to comment
richbh 0 Posted January 8, 2006 Very nice. I concur with Larry McGarity's suggestion about the cropping - although it surprises me a little. I tend to "anchor" certain photographs with a large element on one edge or another. I have to learn to look at the possibility of not anchoring. Link to comment
marygaynor 0 Posted January 9, 2006 I agree I have gone back and recropped it. I think it works but at the same time it takes some of the contrast out I think Link to comment
mcgarity 0 Posted January 9, 2006 Its taking forever to upload the new version. I think thats because the additional photo someone else attached. Both are competing for bandwidth slowing everything to a crawl on my dial up connection. Thats why it is better to post links rather than complete images in the comments. That said I like the cropped version. I like it a LOT. This would look extraordinarily lovely as a large print on a wall. Link to comment
