daniel_beringer 0 Posted January 8, 2006 Does anybody know what the red flaring in the corner near the tree? It has something to do with the camera as it appears in all exposures over 3 minutes long!! Link to comment
francisco_m_ndez_fuentes 0 Posted January 17, 2006 Nice image. Maybe more contrast and brightness (and flip ?). Saludos. Link to comment
rob wray 0 Posted January 19, 2006 I'm impressed with the image, I've never seen so many stars before, except through a light magnification scope. To answer your question to what is the light in the tree. It's just that, it is picking up reflected light. If you had it open any longer the light frequency would have changed to more a blue colour. daniel_beringer 0 Posted January 20, 2006 Thank you all for the feed back, I glad theres nothing wrong with my camera! To take the photo I had my camera "Piggy Backed" on my telescope which was polar aligned to the South Celestrial Pole. One clock motor was used to track the stars. Link to comment
alexconu 0 Posted January 23, 2006 Good image. But I agree with Francisco. A little bit more contrast and brightness would be ok. Link to comment
