This is such a beautiful photo...reminds me of Anne Geddes photography. The baby is so tiny and yet so perfect! Great shot! And great work in bringing such a lovely child into the world! 7/7

gorgeous shot, BEAUTIFUL baby...oh so beautiful. the right side of the photo with the pillow under the head is kind of distracting. Makes me wonder what was holding the babies head up. Was something removed from the photo? However, still a terrific shot and easily overlooked. I can't get over how lovely this baby is!

I believe the babies head is being held up my the mommies arm!! Daddies hand is over hers. Looks like the mom is wearing dark clothing or else it is a dark prop. Very nice picture. Peace, Annie

Hamish, if you read follow-ups to your critiques - all I can say is, you must not be a parent or a grandparent!! The text is lovely!

I did not realize this photograph would be so controversial. The text was added at the parents request, a very nice text I may add! As for the title . . . "Trust", it is very fitting for any baby, not just this baby. A baby is entrusted to you to take care of him/her. This baby is in her parents arms. She is "trusting" her parents not to let her fall. As to what she will become later in life is not what this photograph is about.

wow john, you have a habit of delivering bitter good for nothing comments...don't u? It's very popular to add text to newborn photos. where have you been? You may be a parent. but, i'm gathering that ur either an abscent parent or an uninvolved weekend dad. cheers.

Mindy, this is very original but simple and entrancing. The sharpness and clarity are so perfect. I would like to see more of the mother's arm so I wouldn't be distracted from the beauty of the picture by trying to figure out what the white shape is under the babies head and how the man's thumb could bend back like it appears. The wording is very nice and I've used captions on some of my family photos but this photo is so perfect I think the caption commercializes it.

The parents were wearing sweaters and we just rolled the sleeves up. Of course, the mom is smaller than the dad, so her arm does look strange compared to the dad. I have tried adding to her arm, but it does not look right. I love this photograph, but I am not sure what to do to her arm to make it look natural. Any suggestions?
