this photo is so simple but so powerfull. i love it.

Somestimes the simple shots are tho most powerful. Excellent shot, Rich.

I'm never anywhere this flat. I bet this would look cool as a large print. The larger the print, the more it would excentuate the nothingness above the ground.

I was dismayed when I moved to Illinois in the early 70s as I had grown up in the hills of central New York. It took me a long time to realize that the huge sky is quite beautiful. As for a large print, you're probably right - but all I have of this one is a little 3x5 in a notebook somewhere. Thanks for commenting.

I live on the prairies (although the hills and mountains aren't too far away) and love the vastness of it. I love the simplicity of this shot and think that not only would it look great as a large print but also as a panorama (if you crop out most of the sky). It's nice to have an image where you get this kind of versality.
