She looks adorable! Just one question, if she's sitting on a reflective surface, why not try to incorporate more of the reflection?

The photo is gorgeous, and she is too. I think it could take just a wee bit more sharpening. I like this very much, nice work! Cheers, -Greg-

unfortunatly my reflective surface is rather small only 3x6. She was sitting in the middle so it didnt leave much area in front but I understand what you are saying. In my Little Princess folder I have another similar picture where I was able to show more of the shining surface and reflection of some paper snowflakes.

 

Thank you for all comments I appreiciate all of them as I am still in the early learning stages of studio pictures. Still figuring out all about the lighting and technical stuff.

Very beautiful portrait. She's posed well for her age knowing she's being photographed. I would have liked to see her smile though.
