Bird hunting with Canon 100-400 rental

I rented a Canon 100-400 to see if I could convince myself to buy it

and went bird hunting for the first time with it. I was convinced

within the first few shots. Comments and critique's welcome.

JUSTIN, you have captured a very fine details with your rented camera, when I think, you were not fully conversent with it`s full operational details i.e. light metering system, focus level system, and you have used in this photograph multimetering and many point focus, where as you could have drawn much more details in spot metering and spot focus.....

got one..... thats a big chicken, this looks like it would be very easy to add a dramatic background to, crisp and clear
