Baby Arden color and cropped

Took the advise of a fellow poster and cropped this down. What do

you thnk?

Very nice. Much better contrast and saturation. I don't know if the other pictures posted were intentionally desaturated, but this looks much much better in my opinion.

Yes the others post in my portfolio were desaturated. I wanted to do them black and white but when I totally desaturated they looked blue so I left a small amount of color to them. I really like B&W but on these I think I like the color. Check out the others in my Mom and Baby folder and tell my what you think.

Elaine, I can relate to a partial desaturation. I really like the effect. Its alot warmer, and more pleasing than a full desaturation, since the greys tend to have a bluish hugh.

When doing a partial desaturation, I try to increase contrast...otherwise, the pictures just look flat and unprocessed in my eyes.
