hello all,

This image has not been manipulated, The intense yellow is due to

the Sodium street lights. It was taken on New Year's eve in Boston.

The effect you see is due to the fact that it was snowing at the time.

Thank you for viewing and commenting.

Good timing, Cyrus. And great composition, as well. The yellow uniforms, drums, lights, and crosswalk all work together to make for a dramatic photo. Certainly the snow fall adds to the effect. Well done!

I love it. Nothing I would change. It looks like an old fashined painting. Add more moody darkness and Rembrandt comes to mind.

Are you marketing your stuff, Cyrus? I think you should be.

A few New Years Eves I've wondered whose idea it was to put such a night in the middle of winter! Or maybe I need to stay down south (spending several months volunteering in Peru right now).

Yes, it is a WILD idea to put the New Year's Eve in the middle of winter and also put it in the middle of Summer for the Australians!! Why didn't they think of sumetimes like spring for everyone on the planet !!

In Peru?! That must be very interesting. I admire you for Volunteering your time and hopefully it's for a good purpuse!

Cheers.
