wood 1 Posted January 3, 2006 Nice composition and lighting. The combination of textures is very pleasing. The subdued colors help focus attention on texture. Sharpness is impressive. A close up crop showing detail of water drops and leaf texture would be interesting. Link to comment
upscan 0 Posted January 18, 2006 Bill: You have a perfectly framed and balanced composition IMO. 8X10 does give you the luxury of looking for images within images but in this frame all is as it should be. The image would gain a little from a richer tonal range which is rather tame here. Perhaps exploring curve adjustments during the scan might give the image a little more brilliance by pumping up the highlights. Link to comment
