I have a couple issues here. First, and I know this isn't your fault, the soulless giant looming large in the background really detracts fom the festivity of this little place. Second, I think you would have done well to get a wider angle or a second shot to stitch the whole building into the frame. Otherwise, the color looks a bit washed out, so maybe a bit more saturation could make this stand out more. Looks like a lovely place, wish I was there...

Thanks for the great input, "E" -- much appreciated. Learning WHY a picture rates what it does is a lot more useful than just a number. :-)

 

FWIW, it was the contrast with the looming, "souless" giant that I was shooting for. Oh well, that's why it's subjective I guess. :-)
