ken_thalheimer 3,739 Posted December 20, 2001 Interesting. I imagine they were lined up much the same as they came off the assembly line Link to comment
gerald_widen 2 Posted December 22, 2001 Looking for comments, I can go back and re-photograph these cars, and ratings. Thanks Link to comment
michael_green 0 Posted December 22, 2001 did you take a picture polarized? I don't know if I'd like it that way better or not, but it's a thought... Link to comment
richard_lowery 0 Posted December 22, 2001 ---a bit of nostalgia ---60's models definitly, --wonder if they followed each other to the 'graveyard'??? Link to comment
ken_bufton 0 Posted December 22, 2001 Good interesting shot. makes you wonder how they got there and why! Link to comment
SolaresLarrave 2 Posted December 27, 2001 That's the first thought that came to my mind when I saw these two VW bugs. Later, I examined them a bit more... Yes, my dad drove one of these in the sixties. Quite original shot! Link to comment
detlef 6 Posted January 29, 2002 I agree with Ken...like an assembly line...well seen and composed Link to comment
jean_schweitzer 0 Posted February 13, 2002 Gerald, I saw the other picture you have sent today and I visited the folio, This one is my prefered. I like the alignement of the similar cars, maybe I would have even framed the picture to avoid the tree on the right side that takes a bit of our attention. But this is a minor remark I also like the black/green colors and the harmony of the plate color with the sleeves (?) on the ground, Jean Link to comment
emma_byrne 0 Posted February 17, 2002 And not just because we had 9 vw's in my family. The groundcover is beautiful, the cropping looks as if the bugs are coming at the viewer, the lighting on the windshields gives it an extra ghostly feel. The rust bothers me cause how could anyone let this happen to their bug. Completely bothered, but rating completely perfect. 9/9 . . .Thank you for showing. Emma B. Link to comment
manncer 0 Posted October 12, 2002 I'd be interested in seeing the same cars photographed so their down in the corner of the frame with an expanse of the woods taking up the top and right of the frame so they would seem more isolated, lost, sad. The way they are now I just see the old cars. I wonder why they are there. Link to comment
