romeyer.jp 0 Posted January 10, 2006 For sure you need "guts" to dare capturing this spectacle. The small tree is perfectly humble compared to the storm! Congrats and happy new year to you and your family Kenneth , and thanks for your ratings and comments Jean Pierre Link to comment
colin carron 58,916 Posted January 10, 2006 The tree looks as though it would like to run away but is rooted to the spot. Great shot, Kenneth! Link to comment

dennisdixson 0 Posted January 16, 2006 I could feel my gut tighten just from looking at the photograph. This one definately evokes a strong response along with the rest. Your weather photos seem to have a universal appeal. They also remind me of all those days when I used to walk to school in bad weather. Link to comment
Guest Guest Posted January 17, 2006 What a capture, Kenneth. I admire your passion for these kind of shots. Great Composition and also shows the vulnerability of a lone tree. Well done! Link to comment

rkyobo 0 Posted April 8, 2006 Kenneth, I really love this photo - in fact I like it so much I wanted to be able to put it on my monitor as wallpaper. So I had to crop out the top of the clouds...and this is what I came up with. Hope you don't mind. If you dont' like it, I'll delete it. I can't make wallpaper unless I get it from the internet for some reason. So I had to add it here, so I could do that. You are a brave man to chase these storms...I'd love to go on a chase just ONE time. :) Plenty of storms this weekend in Tennessee, huh? I love your entire portfolio, Kenneth - great work! 6/6 Link to comment
stormphotonet 1 Posted April 8, 2006 Joy Kelly, I am honored that you like my work and that you would set it as your desk top. Thank you for your kind comments on my work. Thanks to everyone here that help make my travels in Tornado Ally more of a joy for me. Every time I open that shutter, I think of being able to show it. Yes Joy, Tennessee has been hit very hard, last count was 12 lives lost on Friday. Speaking for us in the chase community, it is very hard on us all when we have life's lost from these storms. My hart goes out to all that have lost this past week on Thursday in Kansas and Friday in the Midwest. I sometimes ask myself, how could a thing that I love so much take so much, from so many? Thanks Ken PS. If you and your husband ever get to the US in spring send us an e-mail and we will see if we can find some dirt roads. Link to comment
