Another great image of that incredible twister, Kenneth. Don't hang around too long under such circumstances! Happy New Year and thank you for your indefatigable participation in the photo.net community! Cheers...Bill 7/7

Great work in getting to this shot. Powerful image. I don't know if you do any postcapture work but increasing the contrast may improve the overall shot.

Great shot. I will be too afraid to get this close.

Anyway, I like it that you have included a tree and using most of the clouds to show the size disparity of your subjects. Furthermore, it is great that you meter the brightest area to achieve the silhouette effect of the tree as it simplifies the whole composition.

I've seen a few of these, living in OK, and this is close enough. I rode through one in a house once and thought I was going to fly - the floors start to separate first, then all the windows blow out. Ah, what memories! Wonderful shot. Happy New Year. Best Regards.

With a 24-70mm, no less. Great shot Kenneth. I might have tried this one with a 300mm, but it would have been tough to keep the camera steady shooting over the shoulder while going full speed in the opposite direction of the subject.

Seriously, you were positioned perfectly for this one.

Happy New Year.
