My wife holding our friend's new baby. If you can look deep in the

baby's eye and see if you notice anything.

I appreciate the feedback. As I wrote to Laurie, I didn't even notice the hair. Of course now I don't notice the baby :) This is the type of feedback I am looking for.

Thank you all for your time and feedback. Please keep it coming.

Kim,

I was referring to my wife's reflection in the baby's left eye although you can not make out this detail at the size this picture is presented here.

Thank you for your comments. I enjoyed your portfolio.

oh my. see, I apologize again. I knew not to try and guess lol. But, do you see what I'm saying about the right eye? no white is showing, no light is in the eye. So, it looks flat and empty. again my apoligies!!!

Hi!

I did this REALLY quickly in photoshop..(I am late for work again!! LOL) But I wanted you to see the difference without the hair. I also put the light in the babies eye..not sure if that looks alright or not. However I just wanted you to get an idea! :-)

Laurie,

Sorry to hear about you being late to work. Happened to me too :) Thanks for the retouch to the photo. I agree it looks much better without the hair. And the light in the eye does add more life to the image. One of things I like about forums like this is the ability to have completely non-biased people provide honest and genuine feedback and critiques. I have been playing around with Corel Painter and I am planning on making this an oil "painting" as well.

All the best. And thanks for your time and thoughts.
