What a triplet, Hiroya; this one is my favorite with thos call eyes staring at me. Not so inviting looking at it so close, and yet exquisite.

I was going to ask if this was a dinner guest, but then I read your comment.

I like the blurred surrounding that frames the face. I will have to practice more with this technique.

Congratulations! You are the 1st commentator of 2006 here in my portfolio(though I have nothing good for you).

 

Sorry I didn't use any special technique. Macro lense with wide-open iris results shallow DOF like this.

Of course before. It was unexpectedly hard because he moved so much. Disliked camera or disliked cooking... Maybe both.
