asr 0 Posted December 28, 2005 This photograph was taken from atop a boulder hilltop in the Hampi valley in India on my recent trip to India. Hampi was a famous kingdom of Krishna Deva Raya, one of the most wealthy rulers of medevial India. The boulder strewn hillocks and the unfordable Tungabhadra river provided natural protection to the kingdom from attackers. I wanted to depict the monumental role played by these natural forces in protecting the kingdom. Hopefully this photograph does justice to their effort. Thanks for passing by, and regards, Ashutosh. christiankiely 0 Posted December 28, 2005 Lovely composition, but the depth of field looks very shallow. What was the aperature? Link to comment
asr 0 Posted December 28, 2005 Hi Bond and Christian, thanks for your comments. The image does look soft, but I presume it's due to photoshop JPG conversion artifacts. The aperture used was F22, and looks quite sharp full size. Regards, Ashutosh. Link to comment
