Wonderful! Tremendous expressions, great clothes, ideal setting, excellent composition. What more can I say... except kind regards, m. (8/9)

The story is: "I couldn't resist them".

I made a couple of fake pictures off to the right and then to the left. This was just so as I could get my focus correct, by pretending to photograph cigarette butts and dead leaves next to them. They were staring at me as if I was mad by the time I'd been on this caper for three or four minutes (you can see it by that, "What... the...?" look on her face). Then I just flicked the camera towards them and shot this one frame.

My hair was awful wild in those days and I had a slightly "desperate" look about me (I used to think I was pretty cool, actually... I was wrong, of course).

I guess they were just kinda hoping I wasn't going to mug them.

You nailed this one and you know it.

I'd been playing hermit on this site for the longest time and had no intention of signing up to share my cringe-inducing disasters (read: snaps). But, Tony, your pics .. your follow ups on the pics, your ..

Making every effort not to resort to clichéing; this couple, Mr Dummett, *have* tickled my fancy.

Keep it rolling.

sweet shot - I just discovered your portfolio through

the "pic of the week".

I noticed that most of the images in the "Bresson" folder are

from 1975. wow - so many great photographs in just one

year. Also I'm wondering what happened after 1975.

You were (are?) quite a master of the 50mm lens.

I love it. One of my favorite techniques. This one's a stunner, btw.
