danwilton 0 Posted December 19, 2001 Great composition, well exposed...they don't look too pleased about having their photo taken though! Good shot. Link to comment
marcelo_salup 0 Posted December 20, 2001 I like it. There's a certain attractive imbalance to the whole thing. Link to comment

damon_meledones 0 Posted December 21, 2001 You seem to have a story behind almost every image you create. So I must know, is there one behind this one? Keep up the exelent work. Link to comment
mgvaughan.com 0 Posted December 28, 2001 So, what's the story? This is as good as any POW I've seen. I enjoyed your portfolio as well. Link to comment
tony_dummett 0 Posted January 18, 2002 The story is: "I couldn't resist them". I made a couple of fake pictures off to the right and then to the left. This was just so as I could get my focus correct, by pretending to photograph cigarette butts and dead leaves next to them. They were staring at me as if I was mad by the time I'd been on this caper for three or four minutes (you can see it by that, "What... the...?" look on her face). Then I just flicked the camera towards them and shot this one frame. My hair was awful wild in those days and I had a slightly "desperate" look about me (I used to think I was pretty cool, actually... I was wrong, of course). I guess they were just kinda hoping I wasn't going to mug them. Link to comment
amna_tariq 0 Posted January 1, 2003 You nailed this one and you know it. I'd been playing hermit on this site for the longest time and had no intention of signing up to share my cringe-inducing disasters (read: snaps). But, Tony, your pics .. your follow ups on the pics, your .. Making every effort not to resort to clichéing; this couple, Mr Dummett, *have* tickled my fancy. Keep it rolling. Link to comment
paul a. roid 0 Posted November 8, 2005 sweet shot - I just discovered your portfolio throughthe "pic of the week". I noticed that most of the images in the "Bresson" folder are from 1975. wow - so many great photographs in just oneyear. Also I'm wondering what happened after 1975.You were (are?) quite a master of the 50mm lens. Link to comment
