hannueskelinen 0 Posted December 25, 2005 A very stylish portrait. So far one of the best portraits i've seen for a very very long time. Composition is far beyond perfect. Sepia tones are matter of taste, this could also work as color or b/w. Her look is very intense and stops viewer. I can also see rembrants triangle under her right eye. Link to comment
longtang_lin 0 Posted December 26, 2005 wow... this is 1st class photo.. I love the great look.. intensified eyes.. her face loose soem texture maybe due to heavy PS conrtast layer ?? If you still have RAW file, ,maybe you can restore it ?? It worth 7/7 after re=processing.. Longatng John Lin Link to comment
gregorio_binuya 0 Posted December 26, 2005 brave composition and lighting. it works! your model is gorgeous and her look is arresting. when you can't stop looking a person's eyes in a portrait, you know you've taken a killer shot. as far as the painter's comments, it sounds like harsh arrogance. to say that photographers and models cannot get sincere and moving pictures sounds like closed mindedness from the get go. and how can you truly be an appreciative artist, be it working for 35 days or 35 years, when you operate on such axioms. beauty happens through all mediums. and it can go unnotice by all mediums. achieving it depends on the skill of persons on opposite sides during that moment - the one looking and the one being looked at.
