forrest_andrew 0 Posted December 23, 2005 the lush tropical cloud forest in all its beauty. i thought i had used a polarizer, but the glare on the veg would seem to indicate otherwise. would this have been better with less glare? or perhaps does the slight white glare accent the white of the waterfall?? would be interested to hear all thoughts, comments and critiques. thanks. PeterKrenek 26 Posted December 23, 2005 Andrew, I think that the slight glare on the leaves makes them look more natural as they are wet, I guess. The good thing is that there are no "burned out" areas on the vegetation highlights, something you would circumvent completely by using a polarizer. It is difficult to answer your question whether a polarizer to reduce reflection on the water would make the waterfall less white, I think yes, but I never made the comparison. Beautiful shot. First class. All the best. Peter Link to comment
woodfred 0 Posted November 25, 2010 Luxuriant and mysterious forest where the fauna and the flora have to be very under cover. A fantastic landscape. Regards, Frédéric. Link to comment
