ROFL . . .

Nice to know somebody's enjoying some of these bizarre exchanges in the feedback forum.

Hey...charging pianos are no laughing matter. They can't be trusted and I have the scars to prove it! You of all people should be keenly aware of that Carl! Please tell me you carry a dart gun.

A nice series Carl and appropriate to the season.

There are some out there that should be shot on sight . . . .

Oh . . . and thank you. (must be holiday nuttiness . . . maybe from all the traffic and crowds doing their last minute Christmas shopping.)

Hi Carl, first off I know nothing of charging pianos so forgive my ignorance.

This image contains many colors, lines, and forms in which to lose oneself. Having paid attention to you work over the last couple of years, I know that little if anything in your shots is there by accident. Unless, of course, it's an intentional accident. So, if I may ask, why did you choose this particular composition? Specifically, the horizontal joint in the bottom third I find interesting. I know in my simple mind I'd have been trying to include the top of the vertical running pane and missed this shot altogether.

Anyway, it's really a very enjoyable shot. All the best to you in whatever you celebrate this holiday season.

A fair question . . .

This is shot at f4, so the idea is the interplay between the clearly defined heavy lines in the front window and the muted colors from the stained glass window behind it. I saw the horizontal line as a base, but also wanted to balance its' weight against the curved vertical lines.

Season's Greetings to you all.

Thanks for the explanation, Carl.

I must tell you I see a rock concert like quality to this picture. That, in contrast with its actual location, I find intriguing.

Carl - I love this series. Especially this one, and #2. I like this one because of the muted colors without definition, interrupted by the dark, well-defined lines. Wonderful image!

Hi Lou Ann. I feel quite fortunate to have had as much sun as we did. Too many gloomy overcast days during the last few weeks. . . . .

(Sigh...) And I have spent the past week and a half in BUFFALO, NY ... where the sun goes away in October and doesn't reappear until March or even late April sometimes. I've missed it! :-(
