jerry ting 1 Posted December 23, 2005 Kim, I am no expert on filters but here are some that you should consider: UV/Haze, PL, 81A and Graduated ND. Here is a website that you can find more information about these and other useful filters. Happy holidays to you and your family. http://www.jr.com/templates/guides/lens+filters.tem Link to comment

ada-ipenburg 0 Posted January 28, 2006 I'm a bit late to wish you a merry Christmas Kim but I'm really fond of this shot. It attracted my attention immediately. The colours doens't look natural indeed, but the snow looks irresistible, just because of that wonderful mix of colourtones. It's a fantastic scene. Very well done! Warm greetings for this cold time of the year Kim, Ada:~) I'm not allowed to give you my 7/7 alas:( Link to comment

dragonfly606 0 Posted March 28, 2006 I was looking at your photos. I have not been on in a while, and must not have seen your photos on that last time here in January. I was looking and noticed how different they all are. They are absolutely GORGEOUS! And now I see you have a new camera. I trully do believe that a great photograph, comes from the photographer and not the camera, but, as I see it here, your new camera has become the tool you use to respark your desire to learn and practice and be a better photographer. Congratulations on your new toy. I'm not sure when you got it. But I do see that you are having fun playing with it to your hearts desire. I do look forward to learning from you too. Your images are my personal taste. Heather Link to comment
kim_tural 0 Posted April 3, 2006 I am very flattered by your kind words. I hardly know what else to say except, thank you sooo much. You are very perceptive about the new camera. I got it late September and started out rather slowly on it. I am still not familiar with all it's functions but somehow I manage to take pictures and yes I do want to improve the quality of my photographs. It's like I started from scratch with the new equipment and I am thankful to the generous folks on this website for sharing their knowledge. You say that my photos are all so different, well I guess I haven't found my niche yet and I find myself experimenting. Again, thank you for the nice visit, you made my day! Kim :-) Link to comment
