that spider is plastic. It has to be.

 

This one belongs on the cover of a Sherlock Holmes or Agatha Christi book.

 

The greenish tinge just adds that much more to the scariness. Excellent light and crop.

She was so scared of this spider. It took quite a bit of convincing!

If you think it's made of plastic, look at the crop and how the clow is digging into the skin.

See the red spot next to the green on the spider? I thought that might have been a spot of ketchup or something added for effect. My god, I would never, ever have posed like that with a real spider. But that is a part of the spider - red and green fuzzy spider. arrrracchh na phobia

effective portrait, I stopped by and was looking through your portfolio and this shot really jumps out. My eyes went wide with horror as I saw this shot. I like the desaturated skin tones and the 'angled shot' to add some mystery. :)
