cyrus khamak 0 Posted December 19, 2005 Hello Everyone, This is a small Orchid, about 1-1.5 inches in longest dimention(2.5-4 Centimeters) The part that makes the face is about 1/4-3/8 inchrs(6-9 Millimeters). You can only see a face like this if you backlight the flower in a very precise angle. No manipulation of any kind has been done to the features whatsoever. The colors though have been adjusted. This flower has proven to be very difficult to photograph as the leaves are kinda meaty with some texture that made it tuff to clean. The inserted image are of the flower without adjusting for the angle. All images were taken in JEPG sometimes in March of 2005. To see the possibility of a face, I had to examine the flower with a magnifying glass. Hope you find it interesting. Regards. Link to comment
deozmac 0 Posted December 20, 2005 Cyrus - this is amazing. I'm giving it 6 Aesthetically and 7 for Originality. What is also impressive is that you have not blown out the possible highlights of the 'upper cheeks'. Link to comment
cyrus khamak 0 Posted December 20, 2005 Thank yo David, I think you were one of the few who understood what this image was. It real amazes me as well, all the features are there. I emphasis again, this is it, nothing added. Kind regards. Link to comment
sharon jackson 0 Posted December 22, 2005 This is so cool - reminds me of someone all decked out for mardi gras. The backlighting makes the picture. Welcome back! Link to comment

cyrus khamak 0 Posted June 19, 2006 This is a very small part of this flower, about 6 Milimiter. NOTHING has been added. You see this face only when the flower is backlighted at a special angle. Link to comment
