gaetanchevalier 5 Posted December 18, 2005 Leon, this is a very nice winter scene capture. With the Great Lakes I think you can get great winter scene. Congratulation for this original shot. Link to comment
katzpjs 50 Posted January 31, 2006 Can you give me a clue as to how this beauty was formed? I've lived 30 years in Southern California and 30 years in Seattle. I've never lived in this kind of cold.It appears to me that wind and spray from the lake formed the icicles (please confirm), but what about the break and reforming in the middle? Is that what happened here? If you are not sure or don't know, make up a story that sounds good. Thanks. Link to comment
hondo 0 Posted January 31, 2006 Shawn, On a very cold day in December a shark dove at me from the lake and instead of biting my leg his teeth got caught on the fence and froze. Then the water sprayed over top of the teeth and froze instantly. How am I doing so far. Actually, you are absolutely correct. The wind blew icy cold water onto the fence and it froze. It is Lake Ontario on the shoreline of Toronto. Link to comment
