I really like this picture. It seems kind of odd though, like the scale is wrong. I almost feel that the landscape could have been part of a model train setup that you photographed. I wouldn't change a thing... at least it makes me think.

My first thought is that this is the next generation of Microsoft advertising. I mean that as a compliment, though I'm sure some will take it otherwise. Your use of colors and composition here is astounding. Looking at this, I feel like I'm back in Landscape 101 viewing the masterworks. Truly, thanks for sharing. I'm in awe.

What's the best characteristic of this photo? I'd have to say the composition, but the contrasting textures and colors are precious too. This is a masterful photo.

I just installed Microsoft Windows XP, and some how this looks INCREDIBLY like the default wallpaper that it installs. Weird :)

Loose the frame, the picture is wonderful.

Colors look unnaturally saturated, even if you are using Velvia or E100VS.

I agree Ryan, as the parent of a little one, I am familiar with teletubbies. This photo looks straight off the set. It is very surreal. I expect Tinky Winky to pop over the horizon at any moment. I really like this photo because of its surreal look. A break from so many carbon copy landscape shots.
